About
Hands that
listen first.
I am Sarah Lima — a certified massage therapist practising in San Bernardino, California since 2020. This page is the long version of who I am, how I work, and what a session here actually feels like.
View services01 — The approach
Four things I believe
None of them are original. All of them are rarer than they should be.
Ask before you press
The intake conversation is not paperwork. It is where most of the session is decided.
Pressure is not progress
Deep work should feel like relief, not endurance. If you are bracing, I am doing it wrong.
Let the body lead
Every session begins with intention, but the body guides the work. I pay attention, stay present, and adjust to what unfolds.
One person at a time
No double-booking, no assistant, no second room. When you are here, you are the only one.

02 — A session
What a session
looks like
Every session has a rhythm. The details depend on you.
Arrive
We start with a conversation. We review your health intake, talk through any questions, and check in with how you're feeling in that moment — physically and mentally. What you need today matters more than what you needed last time.
The plan
Before we begin, I'll walk you through the session so you know what to expect. Especially if it's your first time, there's room to ask questions, get comfortable, and know what's coming next.
Settle in
Once you're ready, I'll give you privacy to get comfortable on the table. We'll begin when you're settled.
The work
We begin with your back, then move through your legs with the help of warm towels and heating pads. After you turn over, I'll work through your arms and the fronts of your legs, finishing at your neck and shoulders. Throughout the session, I pay attention to how your body responds and adjust as needed.
Finish
We bring the session to a close at your neck and shoulders, allowing the work to finish where so much of the day's tension can collect.

“You are welcome to talk the whole session or say nothing at all. I take my cue from you, and I will never fill a silence for my own sake.”
